YOGA
Chuck has been drumming for yoga classes since 2004 and continues to be very inspired by the experience. When accompanying an asana class, he creates an integral flow that is sensitive to the pace led by the instructors and becomes an intimate part of the participants’ practice. He remains an important force in the union of music and yoga, believing that the two are interdependent. Through this work he embraces traditions such as Anusara, Hatha, Jivamukti, Kripalu, and Sivananda. He has worked closely with many dedicated yoga instructors including Ashley Ludman, John Smrtic, Mary Ellen Ricks, Brooke Carlson, Amy Jeanette and author Jo Ann Staugaard-Jones. |
In April of 2013 he had the opportunity to play for the internationally known instructor Sadie Nardini at the Yoga Journal Conference in New York City.
He has performed in many of the most respected yoga studios and retreat centers in the US, including:
The Omega Institute, Rhinebeck, NY
Euphoria Yoga, Woodstock, NY
Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Lenox, MA
Karuna Yoga, Northampton, MA
Golden Bridge Yoga, Los Angeles, CA
